The Bremen Christmas market on the market square and the Lieben Frauen Kirchhof is one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Germany and probably the most beautiful in northern Germany. Numerous stands put visitors from near and far in the pre-Christmas mood and invite them to linger, chat and drink mulled wine. Handicrafts, chocolates, woolen goods or candles - the Christmas market offers visitors plenty of inspiration for the gifts under the Christmas tree. In the middle of the market square is a historic carousel where children can do their rounds while parents can try culinary delights and Christmas specialities.
