Museen Böttcherstraße

The Paula Modersohn-Becker Museum and the Ludwig Roselius Museum form a unique ensemble. The former displays paintings from all creative phases of the pioneer of classic modern art. Furthermore, the museum houses the most extensive collection of works by Bernhard Hoetgers. The Ludwig Roselius Museum presents arts and crafts from the Gothic, Renaissance and baroque periods. The highlights include works by Lucas Cranach and Tilmann Riemenschneider.
